Run/Open VS code from Mac Terminal

This video gives you a tip on how to run vs code from the mac terminal
- Try before you change the settings
- Command palette to install Code option in the PATH
- Try after settings changed

Commands used:
code .
code -r .

Hi, I faced some problem during the process. I can successfully use "code ." command to open viscose. However, there is only a folder without the content in the folder shown in the explorer section of vscode. I found all the places but I cannot figure out what's going on..
