Completely agree! VSCode is a text editor that can be extended via plugins to become and IDE, but JetBrain’s products come as advanced IDEs out of the box. And they have many IDEs tailored for specific programming language. JetBrains ftw

I totally agree. I use Rider for all of my c# needs and it just works ALL the time. I don't want to configure anything anymore. Lately I have been using VSCode for a ton of typescript and dealing with extensions and config has been annoying.

Literally just formatting options, save on changes, and themes is all my configuration with vscode . I did it once.
The rest of my time is spent drinking coffee and trying to remember how to center a div

There is the sync feature so you really don't have to configure anything, but whatever suits you best.
