I also went to Countdown 2021 and I’d have to say it was almost tied with Beyond. I would say the age range is mostly 19-30. It is also a 2-day festival, which is perfect, but I do wish they would have held it on the 30th and 31st, to build up suspense for the new year, rather than the 31st and the 1st. Other than that, I had the best time and this rave actually turned New Years into one of my favorite holidays (it didn’t used to be), it was just absolutely incredible.

Beyond PNW is actually Insomniac’s replacement for Paradiso after all the lawsuits and is set on the same dates Paradisos were before, so looks like Paradiso might not come back in the future.

Escape honestly isn’t worth it IMO. The lineups are good and the whole look and them is amazing but way too crowded, like you can’t even walk without bumping into people and you can’t dance in the tents because everyone is so crowded up.

i know this is old but paradiso was a usc event and def won’t be back beyond pnw took over with insomniac stepping in of course i do wish i could’ve went to paradiso but glad usc event is done after that scandal was way to much tbh

You should for sure get to Southern California for a rave! We welcome you Emma. One thing I do disagree is Escape isn't really college age crowd...its just a crowded one. People that aren't every day ravers go to this one but it a mix of ages. I'm in my mid 30s & I love Escape still. The production is top notch 👌. Hard Summer is for sure a younger crowd but being older I tend to hang out in the back & have the best time. Also it's hot AF & I didn't like the venue but it's getting moved to NOS this year so we shall see. It my least fav insomniac So Cal festival. I think it's for sure worth it for you to attend is Beyond So Cal or Nocturnal. One of the best of Insomniac in So Cal..always a good time, nice people and great production. Hope to see you in one of these in the future :) thanks for the awesome video

Nailed it! If you come to So Cal for any event it should be beyond wonderland and the NOS. They have that venue down for easy access. The vibes there are always great! It's my favorite local event for sure. I can't wait to go to Washington for it! Nocturnal is a fun event, I really hope they get a good place to move it to. The city just has sound restrictions and the last Nocturnal there most all of the stages were too quiet. I'd even prefer them moving it back to NOS but there is no camping.

Had my payment plan for Portugal sucks they canceled but also understandable! I feel you on the bass music festivals though my gf is a big bass head and I'm more of a house head so we're always clashing I just can't do bass ALL DAY especially for all weekend I need atleast a little bit of house or melodic, downtempo lol hope to meet you at a festival sometime this year!

I live in LA and went to Beyond Wonderland in San Bernardino and had the absolute best time!! I truly felt transported to another world and the costumes for everybody working there were truly incredible, as were the decorations and stages. There was also a little mini stage with a tree and couches that we ended up resting on when we needed a break. We ended up going to the one in August and it was 105 degree at the start of the show, but we showed up around 6ish so once the sun set it wasn’t so bad. All I can say is make sure you have a fan and refill your water multiple times. Also don’t do a full face of makeup if you can because you will sweat it off :))) absolutely beautiful rave though, especially for my first time

Escape 19 was the worst sum guy punched my girl because she told him to say excuse me but she knocked him out 😂 and also san holo was ambushed it was a mess

Paradiso is no more after the lawsuits between insomniac and USC which is a bummer cause I live in Washington but never got to attend. Beyond PNW is its replacement and happens at the same time at the gorge that paradiso would be

I think Dreamstate 2 years ago you would have been packing your bags because on Saturday the whole dream stage (main stage) was hosted by Anjunabeats with all their artists and Above and Beyond closed it with a 2 hour set that was amazing.

Audiotistic is 2 days, it was one of my first festivals it's right on the ocean it's pretty cool :)
