To the legion of soft brains in the comments- he did not say he voiced Miguel in the movie; he said they invited him go hang out where the “REAL ACTORS” recorded their lines, and they had him perform it, and synch it up to the animation, so he could see what it would be like, and share what it would be like if he was playing Spider-Man 2099.

He’s not trying to dis Oscar Isaac. He’s living out a dream and taking you along for the ride.

lucky duck!! i’d love to do something like this!! ever since the spider verse came out, i’ve been working on making my own spider character. i really love the concept of the entire thing and its really awesome and i’d love to ask to get my character in someday. unfortunately, i don’t think they take messaging requests or anything like that from anyone outside of their crew, so asking them is crossed off my list i guess. if something like this happened to me i would have passed out!! 😵😵
