Just listened to your video. I think any patient who has you as a nurse, is indeed well looked after. I have been on dialysis 4 years!

Hi nurse lindsey. Do have a video on catheter preparation prior to starting dilaysis? Like dressing changes and catheter flushing? I'd like to learn different techniques.

Hello! I love your videos. I would like to know how many patients you are taking care each day at the clinic for each turn?

Thanks for sharing and teaching us so much, of course also for your time.

Will the catheter on the chest fall off and cause bleeding?

I have ESRD. Been on dialysis for a few months via a catheter. I just had vein mapping and I'm waiting for placement of a fistula. IMO it's safer and will allow me to bathe and swim. The risk of infection with the catheter is higher than for a fistula. I've had sepsis and I've had MRSA. Infections are awful and very hard to fight back from.

How do I prevent infection to my Perm catheter patients? Most of my patients are on it and the infection rate is high

I am my husband’s caretaker watching this video makes me extremely nervous. I never had heard of a gpa. That has not been discussed with me as of yet. We have been at this dialysis for 2months now. I’m okay at it but I am not a nurse. We are doing this at home.
