WATCH THIS! Spiral roundabout 4th exit

On the spiral roundabout we will be taking the 4th exit, right turn. Whilst on the spiral roundabout you will come across 3 and 4 lanes on this spiral roundabout. So we need to plan which lane we are going to start in(right lane), plan at which point we are going to move across from the right lane on the spiral roundabout to the middle lane on the spiral roundabout. Then plan when to move from the middle lane on the spiral roundabout to the left lane on the spiral roundabout to successfully exit safely the roundabout.
Then we would need to practice this method of planning and changing lanes on spiral roundabouts to complete this without any help from your driving instructor.

Thanks for this vid. I passed my test a few months ago, and we never covered spiral roundabouts in too much depth.

How do you know when to move out when there are no lane markings to spiral you? Some big roundabouts have faded lines and very late road markings. Is there a general rule to follow, or is it best to plan your journey and have a look at the roundabouts before driving?

She had to come across to come off? I’ve been told to not change lanes on spirals and just follow line on left then it will take me to exit ? Hmm are they all abit different ?

So basically after every exit u pass u move 1 lane towards the left and in the end u will end up on the left to take your exit unless ur doing 5th exit u would come of in the left but in the right hand

Horrible. The driver was taken past 3 exits without having to change lane and then specifically has to change lanes for the 4th exit, so it's like a partial spiral roundabout.
Best way IMO to take these is with moderate speed, give everyone plenty of space and signal your intentions.
