The UK have the most cooked roundabouts I've ever seen

In a country where there are 6 consecutive roundabouts next to eachother, im supposed to correctly assume that two seemingly separate roads count as one exit. And i have to do so in a fraction of a second as i drive past it. I love Britain👍🏼

I don't understand. Why can't they just keep a single wide board right in the middle of each of the exits to display the road/street/route names? It's not expensive and doesn't annoy anybody.

Learning to drive and roundabouts spin me the F out!
I think I got the hang of them & then my head turns to jelly & im like who the hell am I giving way to! I know it’s from the right. But not everyone uses their indicators so I’m always hesitating!
Road users like to try and bully me! They see L plates and always cutting in front of me, Some old pig was super aggressive cause I took my time on a spiral roundabout. Was my 1st time on one! I got a convertible and made sure he seen my middle finger when he pulled out Infront of me!
I got to to not worry about other drivers on the road, I got to go at my own pace that is safe & the rules of the road, I do want to pass my test like! And not pick any bad habits up!

No, those are an exit and an entrance and traffic enters and exits, not traffic goes left and right. Everyone travels around the roundabout clockwise on left hand drive.

What do you mean "traffic going right and left"?

Majority of roundabouts in the UK are badly signposted and road markings are usually faint or near invisible to see. Lane guidance is also usually poor. Im amazed there isnt more accidents at them tbh.

Is the 4th exit for a U turn, or is there a 5th dual carriageway exit they’ve not shown ?

Now during the 1 second of seeing that board, just decipher the number of lanes then find and remember the road code number you need, now within a nano second try to find that exact code number written on the road, do this far enough away to give you time to safely switch to that lane, the code number may be hiding amongst other similar road code numbers, to throw you, and cars may be obscuring the text, or it’s possible the paint will have been worn away. Now check your blind spots, for some reason, give way to the 3 lanes of traffic on the roundabout and then, when clear, go !

Get it right and you’ll be guided to your exit. Get it wrong, and you go home with nothing. What could be easier ? Good Luck

Would loooove looove to see you taking a 3rd exit joining Motorway from a 3rd lane. I really wish they would teach this once you pass your test coz this can cause a very big confusion on new drivers.
