For the more “school appropriate” (meaning non-rouge) scenes they did a “very” terrible job at censoring them. Both in how they did it and what they did. Their reasoning behind one or two of these censors was so bad, that I’m surprised that they were approved to sensor them in the way that they did.

I think that I might have watched the English dub in my childhood but I may have forgotten about that, (for a certain personal reason) and in these recent years of adulthood after I heard online about that show I got a Blu-ray disc that has in it a mostly un-cut version of Sonic X that still has the Japanese VAs talking but also English subtitles so that I can understand what the characters are saying in the episodes while I watch them.
