Uh uh, you always want to beat/hit your child. Sometimes punishment is necessary and sometimes they're not. Aaand beatings are not the only form of punishment. I believe in beatings but I also believe in lectures believe it or not children sometimes would choose the beatings over the lectures. I learned years ago that before a beating commence you must first train a child in what is expected and no beatings are not training beatings are the consequences of disobeying what you taught.
