Lol.. in my family both arranged and love marriages failed and they got divorced. It's just the mutual understanding and ofcourse compatibility...which most of the people ignore while getting closer.

Because of the stigma of divorce in our country, people tend to stay married. My parents and aunties/ uncles are the biggest examples, never seen couples hate each other so much. None of their offsprings want to even think about marriage. They have ruined it.

I have been married for 4 years which was arranged by our parents. We have seen our share of ups and downs but I dont think I would have chosen a better partner for myself through a love marriage. The key to a marriage, love or arranged is trust, respect and most importantly Patience! What our generation really lacks is patience and adjustment. Life wont be a bed of roses in either setup. Its upto the people in the relationship to manage it. And i think people have to stop equating forced marriages with arranged marriages. Times are changing now.

According to my mum: Arrange marriage is marriage between two families. Both family tries to keep the couple together although jhagra v esi karan thora hota h. N the traditional marriage always had the nature of how to keep her/him happy instead of why I am not happy with him. N now a days ppl r comfortable with a tinder date about whom u know nothing about tyen a person who was choosen by wise old ppl of family. They know u n they know what will make u happy in long run. Arranged marriage is traditional tinder with pro max safety

Because of the society, most of arranged marriages work. By the time they both realise the partner is unbearable, they will be having kids. And now for those kids they have to stick together. But it causes more harm to the kid.

I have seen several examples even in my family. We know how much a douchebag that person is but still we advice them to stay in marriages because divorce is a dirty word.

Simple answer : as both side families are involved and they will say ‘thoda adjustment toh karna padta hai’ to the girl in most of the cases

But in a love marriage you know your partner very well there are no secrets between u he/she knows the worst and the best thing about you . Mostly you get to live your whole life with someone who knows you better than yourself and apart from all this for me i just wanna fulfill all my dreams that I've seen with him before getting married.❤️❤️ So for me an arrange marriage would be interesting but love marriage has its own excitement ☺️
