As a dyslexic myself, I appreciate explanations about dyslexia that do not only focus on the deficits of the dyslexic. This is one of them. What factors go into the dyslexic experience? Both good and bad? Where do YOU see your area of positive or negative impact on the dyslexic?

I'm 36 years old and turning 37 this year. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at about the 1st or 2nd grade. I was allowed to pretty much skip entire grades of learning just because I couldn't understand what was being taught with reading or writing. I find it interesting that I've been learning more about it in the past few years looking online and watching YouTube and how information has been approached. To this day I still have social issues. The being alone part back fires on me so much and I neglect responsibilities.

Really enjoyed your take on the cycle we have to deal with. I instantly looked at the social environment and how my actions affect me.

Interesting cycle. I am long out of school. But the anxiety is still there.

Your ability to bring out ideas from multiple languages is very useful. Thank you for taking the time to do this. Whenever I read abstracts from different countries, I know I’m just getting the bones in English and losing nuance.

I love this one. So intricate and yet so simple. Where would partners and spouses of dyslexics fall in this cycle?

Do you find being alone is the best environment for Dyslexics? As one myself, I love being isolated from the rest of the world, cant stand people.
