To enable safer, smother rides,
over 92, 000 old timber sleepers
on the East- West Line
will be replaced with sturdier
and more durable concrete ones.

Also being replaced is the Third Rail .

This special rail runs parallel to the tracks
and supplies trains with electricity.

A NEW Third rail will improve reliability
and resilience against power-related faults.

I hate the noise barriers. You can't even see the trains going by the tracks unless you are outside and nearby the stations or yoy live in a higher floor to see the trains from that view. And you can't even see anything from the train
