I still remember... almost sleeping like a snorlax 2min before i hear the guitar snare and seeing pikachu inside a ball of thunder... i was like oh

I literally started tearing up when I heard this start playing. I don't know how they could have made that moment better; it was just so perfect.

Because of how long the anime ran, and especially first as Ash's journey began to feel very cyclical and like it wasn't going anywhere, I became very disenfranchised with the anime and it really started to dislike it.

But I decided to pop back in and watch the Masters
Eight just to see how it all came to an end. I knew that the anime could do battles well when it really tried so I expected to have fun with it.

But I did NOT expect this moment in particular to hit me like a freight train. I was having fun washing the show, I knew people had been talking about certain parts making them cry and everything but I didn't think there was a chance in hell I'd be one of those people. Then the those very second those first few notes dropped, I could not contain myself in a way I Lost control of my emotions in a way that I don't think any piece of fiction has ever done to me before.

I wasn't sad, but it did feel like A very meaningful part of my early life was finally coming to an end, And there was something so much more powerful about that than I could have ever anticipated.

There are only two things from fiction that will make me cry without fail 100% of the time. The first is the ending of Red Dead Redemption 2, the second is hearing this song for the last time.

The moment Leon said "FIRE BLAST, NOW!!!" sent a chill up my spine, the VA really put his whole heart into that scream.

Imagine this scenario in Pokemon Horizons.
Spoilers for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, by the way.

The story of Scarlet/Violet goes on (to some extent) to the point that Liko, Roy and Dot in company of Nemona, Arven and Penny are at the professor(or professors)'s lab in the deepest corners of Area Zero in the Great Crater of Paldea, they're attacked and surrounded by a bunch of paradox Pokemon defending the entrance(both from past and future). The group manages to hold them off for a while but they eventually become too much to handle. Their Pokemon are tired and can't last much longer. Arven and Penny, who are not too big on battling, are at their limit, Arven doesn't want to risk his trusty Mabostif getting hurt again and Penny's Eevveelutions are barely hanging on. Even Nemona, who's usually all about battling, is becoming a little worried about the situation. Roy's fighting spirit is beginning to fade as his partner Skeledirge is already tired and barely awake, Dot's not doing well either as her Quackuaval is tired as well. Liko's nervious, but wishes to keep fighting in order to protect everyone. As for her Meowscarada, who is still standing somehow. Things look pretty bleak.

Suddenly, from atop the lab, a powerful Thunderbolt and Flamethrower combo pushes the paradox Pokemon back, the attack causes a huge smoke cloud in which someone lands. At first Liko, Roy and Dot believe it's Friede, since they've seen a similar combo attack before but from the clouds comes a different voice.

_- I heard from a friend that some kids were adventuring in Area Zero but this is a little more intense than I thought._
Nemona has heard that voice. As a Champion Rank, she's familiar with that voice and she freezes in excitement.

_- You. You are..._ - she says.

The smoke begins to clear, and there's a Pikachu, but it's not Captain Pikachu, this one doesn't have a hat. There's also a Charizard, but it has a different air from Friede's. It's much more intimidating. And as the smoke clears the silhouette of a man is visible, a 20 something year old, spiky black hair, blue jacket and a cap. Nemona's eyes light up, Arven and Penny are confused, Roy and Dot are amazed and Liko is in awe, she recognices who the man is, since Friede and many others have talked about him.

_- You're all really amazing. You've done a great job holding these Pokemon back._ - he says.

The smoke clears up, revealing a green Symbol of the Pokemon League on the red cap.

*CUE THE MUSIC*

_- You kids rest now. We'll take it from here!_ - The man says as a full body shot reveals his identity. In the company of his Charizard and his trusty Pikachu. It's the World Champion, from Pallet Town in the Kanto Region. It's Ash Ketchum.

Thats why Generation y is more ambitious than Generation z...As children, we understood that you have to fight hard for your dreams. Pokemon, Digimon, Hunter X Hunter, Dragonball, One Piece..they are all similar. Today its Loosing is a part of life. You can not get the best without loosing.

When all of Ash’s pokemon appeared when they were motivating and cheering Pikachu to continue and give the very last of him for Ash i was crying and when this song popped up i cried even more it was the time when i cried the most watching the anime
