This song hits even harder now! Finally, after a long 25-year wait, with his hat turned backwards, Ash has become World Champion, and he beat 3 Champions, three absolute legends to do it. He really became "the very best, like no one ever was".🏆

I love that in every cover of this song I’ve seen that features him, they go ahead and let Jason shine on the “A heart so true” as if they know they would never be able to do that line justice the way he can.
