Gary Holton was a superb actor his portrayal as Wayne in Auf Weidersehen Pet was incredible, as acting should be effortless and natural. I was so shocked and saddened at the time when I heard he had died. He is so missed RIP Gary

Thank you for this nice and informative video. I haven't heard much about Gary, but now I've learned something about him and his short life. It was nice of you to remove the dead flowers. As for plastic flowers on graveyards, they are quite common on Catholic graveyards here but not so much on Orthodox ones since natural flowers are more common but they you can see them there as well since sometimes people are unable to visit the graves of the beloved ones as much as they would like to..

Such a sad story, but thank you for bringing back wonderful childhood memories. I grew up with Gary on the tv screen as many others did. I always remember finding it so cool that he played Wayne in the show and his real name being Gary because my brothers names are Wayne and Gary so being youg as I was at that time to me that was cool lol. He was great in all he did acting and music, bless him. God bless you Gary. 🙏 🌹

For information only, l contacted a company that supplies gravestones and was quoted 16, 000 pounds without the wording engraved on the stone, the stone was about the same as Gary's. This was by a large company in Kent in March '23.

I’m sure I read that he slipped in the shower and that led him to have a bleed on the brain. Perhaps that’s the story that was put out at the time, this is the first I’ve heard of an overdose. It’s still sad because his character as Wayne was becoming very popular.
