For anyone who's still struggling, this solution worked for me: I got an android phone cable (USB-C) that specifically said that it's also for "data transfer", and that worked. Hope this helps!

Except when I try to go to my home it’s there but the controller is turned off and if I try to turn it on it goes back to that error screen
