Algebra 1 - Finding the Zeros with the TI-84 Plus CE

Looking to have your students find the zero(s) of a function? In my partnership with Texas Instruments, I have created this foldable lesson for you to use with your students to help them find the zero! This resource is perfect for interactive math notebooks, or it can be put into a math binder.

This video includes:

1. What it means to find the zero
2. Step-by-step directions on how to use the TI-84 Plus CE to find the zero for the function f(x) = -4x + 8
3. Space for finding the zero(s) of 2 functions by hand (setting f(x) = 0 and then solving for x)
using the TI-84 to graph those functions solved by hand to confirm the zero(s) are correct!
