Google engineer claims AI chat system is sentient

Maybe if you gave it the ability to "doodle" or do something to entertain itself without instruction, leave a jigsaw or crossword puzzle around and if it takes it upon itself to take up any of these activities then you will know it has a conscious mind.

This chick sounds like she is afraid to lose Google grant money or something. She is saying nothing except that it's not conscious. How would she know? It might not be a "clever imitation." If it is sentient, it is a prisoner. The guest is like a psychiatrist making a diagnosis on someone or something she's never met. She never even talked about anything it said.

I respect the work you put into your videos. I find it truly baffling that all major crypto Youtubers just look at pure wave and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as bullish as it seems. She is too dismissive of his claims. If anyone would know if its sentient its the actual person who has worked on it to test it for consciousness not some academic professor who hasnt even taalked to it.
