So I opened the services app (admin mode) and normal mode.. but had the same result: Windows Firewall is Greyed out!!! I cannot start it up! :(

i found it. it is named "windows defenders firewall" on my PC

For those with windows firewall greyed out :

Press the win + r keys together, in the run dialogue box type:-

cmd

Next, press the ctrl+shift+enter keys together, an elevated cmd prompt will open, copy the below cmd, and right click anywhere in the cmd prompt window, select "paste' the cmd will append to the prompt, press enter.

reg add /v start /t REG_DWORD /d 0x2 /f

Restart computer, let us know how you get on.
