Would it really kill you to make that thing like 2 mm thicker at the seam and add an O-ring. Like for real. Maybe even remove the circuitboards from it entirely have it as a seperate unit at the top of the batter tube and just leave the sensors? People be getting tired of replacing motors you know. I can only imagine what the out of warranty cost for this thing is.
