The objective of this series of live video webcasts is to engage with an informal network of experts (and personal acquantances) on topics of interest to an anglophone segment of the Greek public. The program will appear monthly at mid-month.
David Wisner, Executive Director Dukakis Center, ACT discuss with James Wasserstrom about "The US withdrawal from Afghanistan -- how should we feel about it, why should we care? James Wasserstrom is a leading expert worldwide in anti-corruption. He worked in and on Afghanistan for and at the behest of the US Government from 2009-2014 -- on the front lines of battle, at the US Embassy in Kabul, and in Washington, DC -- and thereafter in collaboration with various civil society organizations. Mr. Wasserstrom worked previously for the United Nations in Kosovo, and has more recently advisede the government in Ukraine. He has spoken twice previously at the Dukakis Center, in 2010 and again in 2019.
