As an Army veteran: This appears to be the legacy of the American military thus far.. Poke our tentacles in an area where we shouldn't have been, get internationally embarrassed and pistol smacked around; pull up our tent stakes; leave billions of dollars of weaponry strewn all over the place and then CUT AND RUN🏃‍♀️, leaving even some soldiers behind! SAD! 😠

I like how the guy who's interviewing them didnt push his own agenda or opinion in the matter and just let these veterans speak about the issue. I also like he was always so respectful for the sacrifices made by these two.

Vice actually creating good content on this subject seems pretty unbiased and just real.

I'm a Marine vet. I recently went to a brand new, multi million dollar VA health clinic with a respiratory issue, URI, and was turned away. Was told they didn't have enough doctors. The security guy at the door escorted me out like I was some kind of threat. LESSON, don't rely on the govt for anything.

My dad was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 and he is livid what is going on…so sad that he’s not the only veteran than feels that way:/

Damn, when we shafted the Kurds and left them to die there wasn't even half of this coverage

Breaks my heart, I lost so many teammates. Did 3 tours in Afghanistan. To come back to an ungrateful nation. Had to fight to get VA benefits for the catastrophic injuries I recieved in combat. Lost my home, family and still standing. To all my brothers and sisters at arms. Stay strong, be vigilant and go forward! Don't let these politicians Right or Left cause you any grief. Keep your heads up warriors!

I feel every single waver...every stumble...in their voice.

And as a vet I'm so proud they mentioned the Afghan lives lost...because its NOT ABOUT US.

My father served training ARVN during the Vietnam war, and I know he still feels deep regret for the people he worked with, those who were left behind. Hearing these vets, is painfully similar to listening to my dad talk about his experience. You'd think we would have learned something from our past mistakes.

You can just hear the pain in those veteran's voices as they talked about the people whom they fought with side by side back in Afghanistan

As a veteran myself I totally agree with what they've said about the loyalty and sacrifices that we men and women have taken the oath to served our country and come home to nothing but lies and betrayal 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😥😥😥😥

It has to be heart wrenching for the soldiers there to continuously witness panicked pleas of people and terrifying screams and tears of children
