US begins troop withdrawal from Afghanistan: US official

The United States has announced it has begun withdrawing its troops from Afghanistan as part of a deal with the Taliban, which is supposed to pave the way to peace.
The US has agreed to reduce its forces from 12,000 to 8,600 within 135 days of signing the agreement on February 29.
The long-term plan is to withdraw all American and NATO troops within 14 months if security conditions are met.
Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel-Hamid reports from Bagram on how Afghans there feel about the troop withdrawal.

I hope the USA and NATO have plan "B" if Talibans do not fulfil their commitments and moral responsibility towards the peace agreement which was signed in GATAR. My self and allots of other people are very sceptics if this “peace agreement” honoured by Talibans and their associates inside and outside of Afghanistan because, firstly they are very opportunists as their records have shown and secondly, they have never honoured the past peace agreements. in the meantime, I would like to thank you all the forces and overseas charity organizations who have made enormous scarifies and contributions toward peace and rebuilding of Afghanistan. I am sure the history of Afghanistan will judge you all with kindness! God bless you all!!!
