Day - 81:

Chapter 04 – śloka 13:
चातुर्वर्ण्यं मया सृष्टं गुणकर्मविभागश: |
तस्य कर्तारमपि मां विद्ध्यकर्तारमव्ययम् || 13||

chātur-varṇyaṁ mayā sṛiṣhṭaṁ guṇa-karma-vibhāgaśhaḥ
tasya kartāram api māṁ viddhyakartāram avyayam

Word by Word Meaning:
cāturvarṇyaṁ – four categories of society;
mayā – by Me;
sṛṣṭam – were created;
guṇa – quality;
karma – actions;
vibhāgaśaḥ – according to differentiation;
tasya – of that;
kartāram – the author;
api – although;
mām – Me;
viddhi – know;
akartāram – non-doer;
avyayam – changeless;

Chapter 04 – śloka 14:
न मां कर्माणि लिम्पन्ति न मे कर्मफले स्पृहा |
इति मां योऽभिजानाति कर्मभिर्न स बध्यते || 14||

na māṁ karmāṇi limpanti na me karma-phale spṛihā
iti māṁ yo ’bhijānāti karmabhir na sa badhyate

Word by Word Meaning:
na – not;
mām – me;
karmāṇi – actions;
limpanti – do affect;
na – not;
me – my;
karma-phale – in the fruits of action;
spṛhā – desire;
iti – in this way;
mām – me;
yaḥ – one who;
abhijānāti – knows;
karmabhiḥ – by results of actions;
na – not;
saḥ – that person;
badhyate – is bound;

Explanation Ch 04 – śloka 13-14:
God is the Administrator and the Master of the universe, but He Himself remains a non-doer. When God created the universe, He differentiated men according to their activities and inherent qualities. Amidst all the action occurring in the universe, God remains untainted because His work is not motivated by results or selfishness.

Meaning Ch 04 – śloka 13-14:
The fourfold categories of society were created by Me, by the differentiation of guṇa (tendencies and disposition) and karma (actions) [of individuals]. Though I am its author, know Me to be the non-doer and changeless.

Actions do not affect Me, nor have I any desire for the fruits of action. One who knows Me in this way is never bound by the results of actions.
