Wow, thank you! How very generous of you, sir! I’m a 59-year-old woman starting a flower farm and park focused on pollinator conservation, native wildflowers, heirloom flowers, and cut flowers. My mission is to bring to my rural community and nearby larger towns and cities (just 2 hours south-ish of Chicago) an agritourism experience that will enchant the senses, engage the mind and heart in pollinator conservation, and empower visitors to make positive and sustainable changes in their own environment and ecosystem. I have a lot of land to play with, so I may also grow some veggies and herbs. This is really my first year. Last year I dabbled, this year I went all in.

While my business is definitely education- and service-focused, I do have a very serious and personal reason for desperately needing to become successful asap. Long story omitted entirely, it’s truly a matter of life and death. I *must* be able to support my family. I’m facing overwhelming odds, but I know that I can do this.
