Who else misses the days of transparent tech? I had the purple transparent Game Boy and loved it.

What other consoles or tech would you like to see with transparent shells?

So I had the idea to mod my Nintendo Switch to look more like my beloved childhood Game Boy.
.
I was so happy to see that @eXtremeRate had all the parts I needed for the project.
.
It was a fairly easy project to undertake, with eXtremeRate providing all the necessary tools and the video guides on their website.
.
I watched the guide of someone changing the front side of the Switch and it looked a bit too advanced for me.
.
But I'm glad I went with this project because I think it looks great!
.
I did skip over a few of the steps in the editing of the video, but that is generally how it went. I would recommend the online video guides for more detailed instructions.

I love love lovee how extremerate actually thinks about everything that they make. And include everything that is needed for assembling the stuff that u buy instead of just chucking everything at u and expecting u to know how to set it up correctly

The ps4 pro is really cool id say itd be interesting to make it deadass TRANSPARENT no color literally exposing the inner parts of the console

I did a shell swap on my Switch and Joycons too. I used the eXtremeRate Clear Black kit, and kept the stock buttons. I also replaced the joysticks while I had the Joycons open since I had some stick drift going on.
