I like the way Han has explained the differences, easy to understand, considering that Oppo Find X7 Ultra in China only costs 699USD, I think Oppo Find X7 Ultra is the best choice

I've watched other chinese (p)reviews of the x100 ultra after the newest update, and I believe it fixed many of the issues you mentioned. I'm especially impressed with the main camera's video stabilization and clarity at night, which you should've tested against ip5pm and s24u. Also, the awesome ultra hd portrait and concert modes

Vivo x90 pro plus user here. I honestly expected more after this long waiting. X100u will definitely get better with updates. That's for sure. But what disappoints me the most and almost no reviewer mentioned is that the giant fingerprint reader is gone!

Check out some teardown videos, there's especially one very detailed one. The new fingerprint reader area is so damn small. Fingerprint reader was an effective factor while buying this x90pp phone. Some might say it's still fast yeah i know but with such big screens, big fingerprint readers are amazing. It had never failed me while unlocking. I workout often and my fingerprints were always an issue with Samsung flagships which also have under display ultrasonic fingerprint.

Another issue no global release. I'm using my phone with a broken screen because Vivo gives zero support. Contacted global team, Singapore, China team. None provided a help. All i wanted them to ship me parts and I was willing to pay but no. You'll also have a hard time go find a repairman who's willing to repair this as most of them are familiar with well-known ones like Samsung, Xiaomi, Pixel etc.

Another issue, bigger battery but still 80w charge and wireless charger is even less. I have 50w vivo charger and I guess won't be able to use its full power on this.

Lastly, old curved screen design. Yesterday I checked xiaomi 14u in a store and that new display amazed me. I'm even fine with flat displays after struggling with repair issues of these damn curves displays. If the glass is broken Noone wanna change only glass because it's a complicated process to do OCA gluing, pressurizing, vacuuming etc. Definitely requires a professional equipment.

Wide angle and main camera are nothing superior comparing it to find 7u and 14u. Where the emphasize is on that new zoom camera. For sure they put a lot of effort into it. But that doesn't justify the price tag much. Maybe we'd say Vivo's v3 chip dod magics with x100p so fr sure v3+ will do better.

My curiosity is going to x100s pro. I'd definitely see how that performs...

All Ultra is here. I waited for this one. thanks for the review. for me, x100pro is still dope. I'll choose x100pro or Oppo for better optimization. If they fix some issue after updates this is gonna King of mobile photography. Thanks, a ton Han brother for the in-depth review.

I guess the only answer to your question in the end is a comparison of Vivo x100 pro and ultra in sometime as soon as the ultra gets a few updates

The problem with x100 ultra is that they just rushed to release it due to the 8 gen 4 phones coming in 4 to 5 months. I think they'd fix it with software update

Vivo x100 pro has been released with fhd camera on the front and after around a month updated to 4k which it's not a small update, soo expect improvement soon.

It gonna receive the updates like all other ultras in the video then....it will smoke all the others...oppo..samsung.. Xiaomi pixel all received more than 3 or 4 updates to fix its issues..vivo runs on the pre software..then how can you judge it??..foolish comments from some people here
