Big advantage of scanning with highest level you can is that you can swipe those B rank special, red and break gates and get good rewards where if i m scanning low level or mid level, i m aiming only for S rank and you can t swipe those as F2P.

if you have more time to play, always refresh for A-rank and above gates, since mining those gates also gives purple gems.

For free to play players you can sweep below A ranks dungeon, you get 80 sweep points every day, and it takes 14 points to each gate.

Bro i got PTSD when you popped up with the S-rank red gate with Baruka. Then i saw the sung jinwoo icon and i felt relieved. Doing that 1 Hunter Only is probably the most daunting task in the entire game.

For the artifacts you can play instance dungeon & encore mission. To get level 50 or 45 artifacts every time use 2 keys (If you are free to play players you can't use more than 2 keys, if you are paid Play you can use 2 or more keys) in a single raid. If you are lucky you can get a legendary artifact.

if it's A to S gates, you need to pay to sweep it. but if it' B below, you can use sweep. :) although, it's not really recommended to mine B below.

for the sweep that requires player/hunter points, does it refresh daily or will i just deplete it after using up all the point and not get it back

as a free to play player normal gates are good for weapon lvl up material which i seem to need more

its true that if u rescan with a red gate the red gate stay and change rank. if i get a b rank red gate i rescan untill i get a S or A rank.

I would say you want to do Red Gates and A/S-Rank Normal gates. I don't think the other gates are worth it at all, at least for me, because I have enough boxes for weapon limit breaking, but not enough enhancement materials to level them up, and the other rewards are available on all gates. The GOLD and EXP difference is mostly from the gate's rank.
Special gates do give more gold, but I don't think they are worth doing over Normal gates, because the weapon and artifact enhancement materials are more important, in my opinion.
