This video was weird to me. I used to walk this all the time, but it has been 20 years or so. I don't recognize much. It actually looks nicer now. I was on Main once crossing Market and was hit by a van that a broke a light. My dumb ass just got up, drove home then wound up in the hospital which didn't do much. I worked on Ellison. This brought back so many memories. Good job.

You are way better than the other guy who does Paterson New Jersey who just sits in the car all day and it's too lazy to walk when he does his videos I love your channel

Where he started off at was mainly populated by Peruvians.
Once he got to Oliver and main Street is where there is a big division of Puerto ricans, mexicans and dominicans . Polish start at grand Street. Go further down on grand to the right, you'll se lots of mexicans and polish. The Chinese man that died was ran over a few weeks before this. Just around the block from the memorial. You walked right past where it happened.

Hey Toon, Omii and Jerzey! 🙌🙏😊💕🐶. Ayyye! 👏💯I remember when I lived in Washington Heights in NYC, the window in the living room I can see NJ across. I have had Peruvian food. I have a younger sister who is 29 yrs old and she is half Peruvian because of her mother. Wow! That’s interesting that the jail is across all these stores. Man! That’s true Toon, they usually put the jails away from the people. Damn! You got me!😮 We have a jail downtown L.A. but it’s away stores but still. I remember the music too growing up. Takes me back!👏💯

this brought back some memories. I was born and raised in Paterson, lived there until 2010 then I moved to CT. 35:24 I used to get my hair cut there at Montesino. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Great tour! I live in an adjacent town. I'm very happy you stopped at Straight St and didn't go any further. It gets pretty dicey on the other side.

I grew up on Oliver St. 1962-1969 the jail was smaller. The public library was on Grand Street where the jail is now extended to. Nice walk.

Oh yes I remember walking this in the the '80s born and raised in New Jersey. I miss it since I moved out of state. Oh yes and that's where the new West Side Story movie was made.

I was born in Paterson and lived there since the 40's, my family came here from Manchester, England in the 1700's. I still live a little more than a mile from City Hall.
