Stretched along the Hudson, The Waterfront offers Manhattan views from its promenade and battery of upscale condo buildings. A candy-striped lighthouse and a 9/11 memorial face the spot where the Twin Towers stood. Mainstream shops fill Newport Center mall, while partially pedestrianized Newark Avenue is chockablock with taverns, taquerias, and New American eateries. The Museum of Russian Art shows Soviet-era works.

What a spectacular view of the NYC skyline from Jersey city; and that Jersey city waterfront walk has got to be one of the nicest I've ever seen; it's right up there with Vancouver's waterfront walk.

I love how City like NY or Shanghai built their Cities on two sides of the water making them like two separate cities but still connected by bridges so that you can get to one another in minutes and the best thing is the view from either sides are just wonderful with parkway along the riverbanks for people to sit, walk and eat to enjoy the skyline from the other side 😀

Always walk the west New York memorial park and no matter how many times I go I just can’t get tired of this view. If there’s something that feels extremely expensive for regular people is this view from NJ, is just unreal.
