Testing the difference between some Eos M modes and resolutions.

Anamorphic Rewired
2.5K Centered
MCMRewired

Concluding thoughts:
1. Highest resolution, image quality and least amount of aliasing 2520x1054 2.5k Centered. Obviously. 2.65MP and cropped sensor. Borderline contionous recording (depending on scene) at 55MB/s lossless and even with cropped realtime preview when recording.

2. Least residue from focus-pixel-fixer-algorithm: 4k Anamorphic 1280 x 1606. Hmm, maybe due to the 1x3 binning its dodging most of the focuspixels? Bad preview while recording though.

3. Best ease of use: MCMrewired 1736 x 726. Full sensor readout (3x3 binning) + 3x crop option, real time r-e-a-l preview with AF while recording. Only 1.2MP though.

4. 1920x804 (2.5k Centered). Highest possible resolution i can record in pure 14bit continuous. Records at 62MB/s, and my camera/sdcard maxes out at 62.4MB/s. Good quality and cropped real time preview when recording. 1.55MP.

I love the MCMrewired, but the extra resolution you get from the 2.5k is very tempting. Im staying away from the anamorphic mode until there is a better real time previewing mode available. What are your thoughts?
