Really good video.
Canon lens blurred the background better. The iphone subject is sharp. The EOSm is not as sharp and white and black colors are off (probably because of some reason on site reason (and the camera guy using manual focus)). Real Good video.
I didn't know the iPhone 14 was taking video like that.

Crazy how good the iPhone got. For making a family holiday movie for myself I wouldn’t take the M anymore. Too much hassle.

Great comparison video. It's amazing that iPhone is very close to EOS-M, and sometimes even better looking, but there's something about iphone footage that's a bit unnatural, not sure what it is. If EOS-M is color graded to emphasize color and sharpened/enhanced in post, it might give an advantage to EOS-M. For convenience and ease-of-use, iPhone wins. I'd like to see this with 22m lens, might be a better comparison.

you pay alot of money to Apple to get the processing done inside the iPhone to achieve decent video, all the color balance, exposure and artificial is done by the ARM prosessor and AI for you to use it seamlessly with Final Cut Pro, you pay your money and get it all done, have fun

workflow dari canon eos M RAW itu masalahnya. untuk kepentingan shooting bukan kebutuhan cinematik, iphone menang banyak.

EOS M looks beautiful and organic. Iphone looks processed and ugly. You can probably do a better grade w the ML RAW to make it nicer

Colors of canon are better than with iphone, you just had to scale saturation up, additionally you could have done better with focus and still the winner is eos m. Depth of field goes to eos m clearly, dynamic range goes to eos m clearly, and color range goes to eos m clearly. I even believe the camera of the iphone 14 to be very overrated. I bet I can achieve same results also with the samsung s21 which is way older and cheaper. And to be honest, I dont really see why everybody is so excited for the iphone 14 camera. And when we start to talk about post production eos M provides you with raw 14bit pictures. You can do a hollywood movie with that format and even get near to high end camera setups with that small piece of hardware. So everybody commenting the iphone was the winner obviously never graded professional footage. But again, only winner here is Apple. They again convinced everybody how good their product is by tricking them into believing their camera could match professional video footage. Also I met professional Hollywood directors who were convinced iphone 14 cam to be an unmatched camera. That shows me how effective marketing can be.
