When Elton says Metallica isn’t a metal band they are a musical band who so happens to play metal. That is the most profound thing Iv heard come from a musician. Far too many people think metal as a genre is angry and uninspired. But bands like Metallica and many more then that have these beautifully written and choreographed songs that are just pure master class. And it’s beautiful to see an artist not in that genre realize this and pay respect.
