Make your own PORK RIND CRUMBS!

Ground Pork Rinds can be used for breading your protein to bake or airfry. Think breaded chicken strips or nuggets, breaded fish sticks and also great for using in baked meatloaf. All perfectly keto, low carb and carnivore!

Here are the tools I used in the 3 different methods to make your own!
Grinding the pork rinds is fast and you get the best texture by using a food processor. You can use any food processor, here is the little mini processor I used in this video:
You can also use a simple rolling method as I showed in the video.
Or you can use a blender such as a magic bullet. (Just fill it halfway for best results)

Thankyou for watching!

I store mine in a glass sauce jar and they keep for a time in my cupboard.

Love the smaller size of food processor you have. I have a large one, and a small one, but the large one is too large and the small one is too small! LOL. I need one in between.

Thanks for your video. I've already tried in magic bullet too but I didn't like the result then I used a food processor and it was much better exactly like yours. But I like the idea with the bag if we only want coarsely ground.

I just make a small cut in the top of the bag to let the air out and use the rolling pin.

These pork rinds seem harmless enough and I know a lot of KETOers use them. But, when I was growing up there was a neighborhood meat market nearby owned by a German family. They butchered the animals and sold the meat. They made "cracklins" which were pork rinds but didn't look or taste anything like these modern versions. I can still get the old fashioned cracklins from a German sausage shop that is about 20 miles from me. They are good for eating but wouldn't work too well for grinding up.

What pork rinds do you purchase and are they from Amazon? I have tried some cheap ones from Aldi..yuck! I do like the 4505 ones but they are more expensive. Just curious which you use as you must like them!

Can you use raw pork skin/rind dry it out and blend it into a powder and use that instead?

I have a vitamix blender. I could blend it all at once and it would take me a few seconds to do it.

After crushing the rinds, do we need to dehydrate or dry them out?
