Recipes:
Sweet & Salty crispy tofu marinade:
1 block of extra firm tofu
2 tbsp tamari (soy sauce or braggs works too)
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp spicy brown mustard
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder

BBQ & Pineapple tofu marinade:
1 block of extra firm tofu
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1-2 tbsp pineapple juice
4 pineapple rings

Buffalo Sauce tofu marinade:
1 block of extra firm tofu
1/4-1/3 cup buffalo sauce

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F (convection oven works best - or use an air fryer!) and have a non stick baking sheet ready.
1. Drain and pat dry extra firm tofu. If the tofu is think, cut in half lengthwise.
2. On one side of the tofu, score it in a criss cross pattern (watch the video for details).
3. Marinade tofu in a small dish with marinade of choice, making sure to get marinade in the cuts on the tofu. Flip the tofu over and marinade other side.
4. Place tofu (scored side up) on a non stick baking sheet.
5. Bake for proxy 40-45 minutes (check after 30-35 minutes to make sure its cooking well and not burning!) or until golden brown and crispy on top. Remove from oven and enjoy!

Top tip - place a chopstick both sides of the block of tofu when scoring, to ensure you don't go right through accidentally, and you also get even cuts 👌😊

Perfect! My kids aren’t vegan like me, and they don’t really like beans or fake meat, but they LOVE tofu. I just needed more inspiration to make it more often.

What I've done to avoid oil and have Sesame flavor is to toast whole Sesame seeds then grind them, use as much as you need for recipes.

Pineapple? Yep, that's definitely another level... Those dishes look really tasty and gorgeous! Tofu absorbs all the flavors and it is a great source of protein. And with the sauté mushrooms, you're killing me here, man.. my mouth is water now... Original and delicious recipe 👍

Oh man. Crystal mentioned sweet chili sauce tofu during your live, so I combined the two recipes... using this scoring method with firm tofu into the air fryer. good. Used regular parchment paper and just punched some holes in it. Thanks for the tofu game changer

These all look lush! I regularly make bbq tofu. I make crispy bbq tofu cubes to have with a quinoa tabouli salad, but have never tried it with pineapples. I make my own bbq sauce and love to add wasabi to it for a little extra kick. When I make the bbq cubes, I also have to bake some bbq tofu steaks, sliced as thin as possible as my family loves it cold for lunch the next day on pita bread with a salad. And if I don’t remember to do it, they get quite cross lol. But besides just adding my bbq sauce, I make up a bbq dry rub to put in it first…then as it cooks I brush the prepared bbq sauce on. I think it makes it much more intense in the bbq flavour.
I have got to try the buffalo one tonight! That one had me drooling. Well, tbh all three had me drooling and wishing it were dinner time! I am always looking for high protein and low carb meals and yours are always tasty af. Thank you. Warmest Wishes from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I will definitely try a couple of these. One that I have done in the past is an overnight soak in a bag that was really good. Soy sauce and fresh ginger.... great. Keep up the great videos
