Indoor fan keeps running. Does your indoor furnace or air handler fan keep running and wont shut off? In this video I go over 10 reasons that can cause the blower motor to keep running and not turn off even when the air conditioner and furnace are set to off on the thermostat. Here are the 10 reasons I go over in the video:

1. Thermostat fan setting is set to ON
2. Blown 3 amp fuse
3. High limit stuck open
4. Flame rollout tripped
5. Low pressure gas switch open
6. Old fan limit control bad or set wrong
7. Bed thermostat
8. Shorted wires
9. Bad control board (fan relay stuck closed)
10. Extreme temps outside or other problems

This video saved me a $300 service call in the middle of an ice storm. I have a 30+ year old propane furnace that had a stuck limit relay...fixed with a little percussive maintenance!

Best channel ever. This video saved me big time . My heat was out for 2 days tried everything to figure out . And turn out to be my high limit switch was stuck in the open position, tapped it a few timed and my furnace started working again and said me money insteadof calling someoneto fix it.. thank you so much for making these videos and keep up the good work helping people

Got it on the first one! The thermostat was "operated" by someone desparate for heat because the furnace mounted switch had been unintentionally turned off! Really appreciate your videos! Thank you! BTW, this isn't the first time you've been instrumental in helping repair "this old furnace"!

OMG, I was ready to get ac serviced. I watched this video and followed instruction to make sure your thermostat is on auto for fan and not on a speed setting. I checked and it was on med/ hi so I put it on the auto setting and the blower finally stopped. Thank you so much.

Thanks for this video. I looked at about 4 others to find possible answers to my blower continuously running and checked all the things recommended. None worked for me. This video was the only one that mentioned the fan relay and rapping gently on it to loosen a possibly stuck contact. Sure enough, that was my problem. All is well now. I'll be looking to find a replacement relay. Meanwhile, if it sticks again, I know what to do. This young man is the best!!

This is what I'm looking for an HVAC technician, a detailed step by step diagnostic check. Unlike other tech guy who jumps to the circuit board as the main problem for a continuously running blower fan. Salute to you brother!

You saved me a visit from AC tech. Yesterday with my AC not turning on, the tech had to replace the Condenser Contactor. Great, ac then works. Then this morning, I saw that the blower fan would not stop despite temp desired having been reached. I then realized that your very 1st troubleshooting item of the fan being on instead of on Auto was the culprit! So I do not need another visit from my AC tech, who had left the fan setting on. Thanks again!

Tripped flame roll out switch was the cause of my fan continuously blowing. This video helped me out and educated me. Awesome job and thank you for your videos.

I am having this same problem and have looked up a zillion articles online and tons of videos on YT -- and *YOURS* by far is the *BEST!* The most informative, the easiest to understand (and the _most enjoyable_ - if l may call it that!)
*Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and wisdom with us all!*

THANK YOU for posting this video, followed step by step and discovered it was a stuck relay on the MB. There is NO WAY I could have narrowed it down without your video, you saved me time, you saved me money, and now I know where the problem is I can grab a new MB and be ready in case it becomes a more common issue. If this video helped anyone you owe it to this guy to subscribe and use his amazon link, I will be!! Not only was this amazingly helpful, there was not 20 adds to skip through.

Man, this was an excellent video. I know nothing about air conditioning or air handlers but I could follow along easily. I know you are teaching via You Tube and it's very much appreciated.
