Fancy Hair is not just a company. It's a passion project that I started working on almost 6 years ago. After launching Fancy Hair in late November 2013, my life has never been the same. I've made many mistakes and had to overcome a lot of hurdles that most people don't know about. I worked my a** off to turn my dream into a reality, and the one thing that kept pushing me to keep going was my customers. There's nothing more gratifying for an entrepreneur than to hear that something you envisioned in your mind, drew on a piece of paper, and then turned into a tangible product has changed someone's life. Given someone their confidence back. Made someone feel like they can take on the day. Made a bride's wedding day hairstyle dreams come true. These are the stories that remind me every. single. day. why I do what I do. Every time I think back to sitting in the middle of my living room floor of my little apartment in Toronto with a wall of hair extensions all around me - inspecting, packing, and shipping every single order myself, I pinch myself. I pinch myself because today, I have 3 fulfillment centers across North America and an amazing team that keeps this business running smoothly every day, and I made this happen! I'm far from perfect. I've made a lot of big mistakes. But I learned, I overcame, and now I'm living my dream. If I can do it, so can you! I love the models you used to represent your hair colors. Most people do photoshop different colors on the same models. Even when I wanted to order hair dye on line. It's photoshopped on the same women. Needless to say the color didn't work out. Bravo to you on your success.

Really, really love this Niki. Not only the learning experiences but also to see your passion for your business. It says so much about you and Fancy Hair. It's always so great to have an idea of the owners and creators of a company and feel that personal connection. It brings confidence to the consumer. I'd much rather support a company like yours than a massive conglomerate only concerned with pumping out orders without care and pride in the product or service. I literally have "buy hair" on my to do list!! 😀 My single biggest mistake is staying in an emotionally abusive relationship when I was 17 yrs old. I didn't even realize it was abusive being so young and naive. Now I've been able to help other people also going through the same trauma.
