She's traped in her own hell, experiencing her loop of pain. Not helping the woman causes her to experience the scene over and over till she snaps out of her fear. Masterpiece of a short film.

I love how you took a simple/classic story of the “it was ME all along!” and made it fresh and engaging with touches like that pitch-black road, the rising tension of the violins against the crunching leaves on the forest floor, and the bookend “Hello?” All of those sensory touches drew me in despite knowing how this story would end. Thank you for making the journey so much fun!

Beautifully tense and terrifying variation on the doppelganger story. The discovery of the torch, and the gradual realisation of what was actually happening, were intensely chilling.

I think that this film tells us the simple truth of "if we dont learn from our mistakes we're doomed to repeat them" and it no doubt shows here in a rather simple yet effective premise
