That's what I love. No jumpscares, no cheap horror tactics of startling. Just plain good old fashioned silence, unsettling, eerie, scares. I love it.

creepy faces are probably my worst nightmare and the fact that it POPPED up BEHIND THE CURTAIN effectively spooked me. really cool short and love those quick, simple shots

The thing I love most about it is that the first time the face appears, it looks just faint enough that it MIGHT be your mind playing tricks on you but it also might be real. Amazing job!

The way the face disappeared when she moved the curtain with the buildup to silence is probably the most unsettling part for me.

That's what I call horror. I was expecting a jump scare, but nope. Great pacing, great suspense, great plot, and not to mention that curtain scene was terrifying. Now don't get me wrong. Jump scares can be fun. Yeah add a jump scare in a horror film every so often. Play a prank on the audience. Why not? But modern horror films just over use jump scares thinking that's what makes a horror film scary. No. A jump scare only startles oneself for just half a second. In order to make a horror movie a horror movie, you need to keep the audience scared throughout. Keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Which is what this short film did. So great job to the creators of this great short film
