How to Add Subtitles to Reels

In this video, I'll show you how to add subtitles to Instagram Reels using the Instagram app, but also using another software called VEED that will allow you to have more customisation over the look and style of the subtitles.

In Instagram press the + button and scroll across to Reels. You can either record your reel now, or upload a prerecorded video, by pressing the camera roll button in the bottom left corner. Press the smiley face sticker at the top and then Captions, to add subtitles to your reel. You can customise the subtitles by changing the font, colour and animation. You can adjust the size and placement of them by moving your fingers across the screen. Hit done and share when you are finished.

In VEED you'll have a lot more options for the font and animation, so click the link above to get started. Upload your video and head to the subtitles tab on the left. Click Auto Subtitles and select the language of the video, then click Create Subtitles. You can edit any words that may be highlighted orange and then head to the styles tab to customise the subtitles.

You can change the font, size and colour, but notice how many more options there are compared to Instagram. You can then choose to add an animation and an effect to make the subtitles more eye catching. You can place them anywhere on the video canvas, and when you are happy, click the Done button to export. Choose your render settings and then click Export Video and wait for VEED to render it out.

WATCH OUT, YOU WOULD ASK TO REMOVE WATERMARK AND NEED TO PAY. what a trap, it's $24 a month and even i click on your link it doesn't work. WHY DIDN'T YOU MENTIONED ABOUT WATERMARK i have just waisted over an hour of my time editing and doing everything. then realised i need to pay inorder to get rid of the water mark of your company, then i need to sign an account, and once i asked to enter the code from email and all my work is gone. thanks for wasting my time and fooled me!
