I’ve had viewers ask for my PayPal and Venmo details so they could “tip” me for all the videos. Thank you so much to those who have asked. If you’d like to leave a “tip” it would mean the world to me and my family…

Get Huge Tennis Serve Power (Proper Leg Drive Timing)
1. Begin bending your knees around the time the ball comes out of your hand
2. Bend you knees until your racket is about to hit the birthday hat
3. Explode up either just before or as you hit the birthday hat

You got this!

Great tip Ryan. I believe the timing of the leg drive and racket drop is the key contributor to generating racket head speed assuming the players technique is solid👍

EXCELLENT CONTENT RYAN! My problem is making contact on the way down. Maybe you can make a video on that serving problem some of us club players may have. Keep up the great content coach Ryan! 👍👏🎾🎾🎾

How did you learn tennis? I’m interested in learning about how you picked up the sport and your influences.

You are a bit early on your leg drive. Once you’ve left the ground you are no longer accelerating upward and no longer loading the shoulder into external rotation. In fact, upward acceleration probably stops just before the front foot leaves the ground as the force from the last toes pushing off is probably not overcoming gravity at that point. Maximum racquet drop should happen right about the same time or just after upward acceleration ends. I.e. just before leaving the ground.

Hello Ryan, firstly i am very grateful to you for these such videos, but today i too have a request to you, Ryan i really struggle to handle the fast ball, either my timing is late or i end up shanking, any advice would be a great help. Thank you. Regards.

Could you also say to try and make contact at your racquets highest point so the jump is a more intuitive action?

Wow, this *is* my problem! My leg drive happened *after* I dropped the racket, no wonder I can't generate power in my serves. Can't wait to try this out next time I go practice on the court.

😂 Does this work when it’s near freezing 🥶 outside?

Unfortunately at my age my knees don’t bend the way they used to. The knee bend is my biggest issue on the serve now.

Great videos Ryan. Question for you: My son hard time "hitting on Edge" with his serve (he ALWAYS "waiters trays" it) even with the BIRTHDAY HAT. I'm thinking about switching his grip to a more OPEN grip as it forces an "on edge" motion at the peak....I know the CONTINENTAL grip is the golden rule...so do you think this is a good idea?

The legwork is too early, I do the serve in the another way, 'cause my balltoss's higher and the racketmotion goes far from my head, I mean - lower.
