Superman was always a bit of a momma's boy at times in the comics....I love how they did this scene where the angry Clark Kent goes wild when his mother is threatened. One of the best dceu moments next to the flight scene in my opinion.

I’m not the biggest fan of Snyder but this scene is brilliant. After questioning his place in the world this solidifies Superman’s conviction and shows him who truly matters in his life. Whether he’s Human or Kryptonian it doesn’t matter. That’s the mother he’s known his whole life and he will protect her and by extension humanity. Very well done scene with no need for grand dialogue.
