As someone who is in the depression stage for over a year now, I would like to share what happened. So, my Grandpa on my dad's side, I called him Gramps, was blind and sick, he was blind because of something, I forgot what it was, and I never knew what he was sick with. I never had many memories with him, the last time I hugged him or sat on his lap was 7-8 years ago, as this was in 2023, I wasn't able to hug him before he passed. when he passed on 1/25/23, I couldn't go to his funeral because I got a fever the day of the funeral. So, I didn't get to express my grief enough, so at the moment I bottle it all up inside me and I just can't bring myself to talk to my mom and dad about this. After Gramps d!ed in 2023, our assistant librarian at school passed in 2024, whenever I sit on the bench they made in memory of her, I start crying, because I never got to hug her

I have grief. Heres why:
Last year (2022) in December, I was taking out the trash with my grandma and grandpa. We got to the dumpster and threw our trash in. They said they needed to talk to us, that it was serious. I wasn’t being serious and messing around. But then I heard 3 words they made me freeze and burst into tears. “Duke is dead” Duke was my uncles dog, and he was so sweet. He was a Rottweiler, so he was protective, but he was a calm dog. He was getting old, about 14 in human years, and couldn’t take it anymore. My grandpa was with him when he pasted, and it was a sad death. The day he died, he couldn’t walk, sit, move, eat, or do his business. They attempted to give him a treat, which he loves, but he couldn’t eat it. I saw pictures of him the day I found out.
Just talking abt this makes me cry.
