If you get foxes…lock your chickens in manually, you may come out in the morning to find a fox trapped inside and feathers everywhere(happened to my aunties that had this type of door)

That is amazing. The only improvement would be to have the roosing bars of different diameter. Birts feet get tired always holding the same diameter

Lol, cannot wait to see what your chaotic dinosaur birds *actually* do with that. Mine 1. can't figure out a peck waterer 2. Hide their eggs literally anywhere but the nesting box, and 3. Will sleep under the roosting bars. But hot damn it's beautiful.

I always wished I could teach my chickens to use those nipple waterers. Mine used the little cups that attached there. They got so dirty I cleaned them all the time.

Just one thing. Our chicken coop nest boxes r the same as the ones u build. The chickens tend to ruin the eggs some times. Ive been looking into ways to build the roll away system so when they lay the eggs r out of there reach. Hope ur chickens r better behaved then mine.

Very nice but keep in mind that wild birds poo on the roof and can infect the water butt with worms etc!

Yeah just make sure that door closes, I have a family member that went on vacation and the coop door got stuck and they lost like 30 chickens!
