These guys scare me. My strategy is apply divine confetti and close my eyes and spam R1 until one of us dies

No way dude. They must've upped the divine confetti drop rate with today's update. I just got 10 divine confetti in 2 minutes after just waking up. I thought I was dreaming, getting 2-3 confetti per 3 samurais. And I didn't even have the bell demon enabled!

He is not nearly as aggressive here as in my game...in my game he literally doesn't stop attacking, I have no room for hits

For all of you having trouble moving around him. He can be stunned as seen @0:44 and the smoke clears so you can around faster or instead like me keep jumping to move around (way quicker!). -MD

"... don't be shy to use Pacifying Agents ..." is golden clue. I fought the first Headless close to Ashina Outskirts and didn't have a problem with Terror. I failed this one mostly because of terror. This is IMO the hardest Headless to fight. BTW Malcontent extremely simplifies the fight. I used one after the first deathblow.

Why do I always see people using Pacifying Agent instead of Mottled Purple Gourd? Is there some kind of benefit to using the one that doesn't regenerate when you rest? Because that regeneration upon resting is an extremely convincing reason to use the gourd over the Pacifying Agent.

do not do this guy if you dont want to do unescessary bosses, he dosent give a Prayer bread or anything else than a consumable that is not very needed

I sneak up to him from behind. He sees me somehow and the boss auto starts. Ok. Counter to the mechanics of the game taught thus far. After my failed stealth I’m right next to him, and I can’t dodge. Hanbei clearly forgot the lesson on how to fight when all your movement capability is reduced to near zero. I’m insta grabbed in the moment I realise this. Dead in one hit. So much for all those health upgrades…
