Man, I love how Isshin commands you to "Do it" when giving him a warriors death. Even when he's defeated he still commands respect.

5:37 the funniest tooltip is when you’re fighting tomoe genichiro and the tooltip for lightning reversal pops up as he’s already in the air

The way you described that feeling of just getting lost in the fight with Isshin, of not getting mad at losing because you were steadily making progress are my exact thoughts on both Isshin and Pontiff Sullivan. I adore both, they both took so god damn long (Isshin making me actually leave and visit family for 3 days out of frustration) but the closer I got to finishing it the better I felt, and when it clicked it just felt so god damn good. Personally haven’t experienced that joy since Isshin despite my love of Elden Ring, Bloodborne and the other souls games.

personally, i don't think it's "weeb" to learn a language and try to pronounce it properly, you're appreciating the language, and how the game was made

"Where banana?" Was funnier than it should have been for quick bit.

You can use the umbrella to stop the True Monk terror attack.

Inner Father is next level at these conditions.

Also, I can't help but notice you skipped the Headless.
They can be fun, once you decide you hate yourself enough to fight them.

I 100% support more sekiro content, I miss the good old days when everyone was doing wicked sekiro videos all the time and you brought that feeling back, loved this one, will love the next one!

Hey, super cool to see you branching out into other souls games! Love the content:)

7:00 Wo Long came out recently and I know they're Team Ninja and not From Software, but they improved the issue of when "an enemy has an elemental magic on their weapon and perfect parrying still makes you take damage". When you perfect parry in Wo Long, it undoes the elemental attack on their weapon (or you can just use the opposite element to do this too)

Loved the video! Super entertaining to watch. Great combination of gameplay and comedic commentary. I just recently got back into Sekiro as well after only beating it once two years ago. It's so much fun, and the combat system is unparalleled. 100 % agree with your take on the final fight with Isshin. I remember spending close to four hours on him the first time around and I never got frustrated. As you put it, every attempt felt like a possible win.

The point of the Blazing Bull is to encourage you to make use of an open environment and reposition yourself, something very important to know if you're fighting huge things like the Guardian Ape or the Demon of Hatred. The Blazing Bull is honestly extremely easy if you just sprint towards its butt and stab it once when you get close each time, rinse and repeat until it dies.

fun fact about guardian ape (i know im a month late) you can use the spear (twice so you can do the "yanking") when you knock it over in 2nd phase for a lot more posture damage than anything else in those 1 or 2 seconds. it'll yank out the centipede a bit but idk if it takes more damage while it's out

I actually think the bull is a really good early example of how you need to fight demon of hatred, the devs probably put both bulls that that when you have to fight demon of hatred it's not entirely out of left field

you know watching this makes me want to play sekiro again it looks really good when you manage to learn parrying

Demon of Hatred is my favorite boss in the game because I figured out the strat you mentioned on my own while learning him. Felt good to run circles around the boss as I deleted his vitality and never got hit lol

Both versions of the corrupted monks are my favorite bosses in the whole game. Finally someone else agrees its fun. actually never had the weird terror issue with the because I was stupid back then and didn't realize you could mario stomp sweeps until journey 2

I think gank fights are just as good as one on one fights in this game, they are where the prosthetic tools really shine and you have to be light on your feet while making quick decisions if you want to take down your foes without taking too much damage

23:03 I've had that plenty of times as well, both with Owl (Father) and woth Great Shinobi Owl. Turns out it counts, and boy am I glad it teleports you towards him because I cannot tell you how many times I've had to run towards a posture-broken boss only to have them stand up again making me do it all over.

11:46 You can also use the handfull of ash to stagger the corrupted monk for a few free hits, this can be done multiple times and if you combine it with a few snap seeds, you can actually get a stealth attack on him for a one shot(tho to be fair, that's a bit cheesy).
