Many people mistake being depressed with being sad, depression is a mental illness, being sad is a human emotion there is a major difference between the two.

According to the world health organisation more than 264 million people of all ages around the world suffer from depression.

Women are twice as likely to experience depression then men but men are less likely than women to recognise depression or seek help or treatment for it.

There is no shame in being diagnosed with depression, it’s okay not to be okay, it doesn’t mean you’re crazy, lazy or any different than anyone else.

You may feel alone going through this but I promise you that you are not alone, millions of people around the world and everyone in this community knows, understands and feels exactly like you are, there is no shame in feeling the way you currently are.

I do have pretty much all of the symptoms but as you said you cant self diagnose and none of my family members would take me to a doctor or professional if it has something to do with mental health.

I think I have all of 'em. I sleep at night one day and on days other. 2am, 5am, even 12pm. I seem to have no control over when and how much I eat. I don't seem to be able to concentrate at all. I don't seem to answer phone calls. And so on.

So I guess I'm not alone eh? xD.

It's so hard to live with it🙃
It hurts when no one understands how you really feel deep inside
It hurts to see yourself drowning in pain
You just feel worthless and don't even see yourself in future
You don't even know why it hurts you so much and makes you angry all of a sudden you lose control you cry yourself to sleep every night
you overthink everything
It feels like no one understands you
They just tell you not to think much but fail to understand what it really is, what it feels like
And you just don't feel like sharing it to anyone cause you feel they'll call you an ATTENTION SEEKER so you keep it to yourself and battle every day sometimes you wanna give up and just end this life but you think about your FAMILY and hold on

i have most of these, but I don't want to say that I'm depressed until i go to the doctor... maybe I'm wrong idk..

Hey Charlie! I have cronic anxiety and clinical depression along with other conditions, such as PTSD and OCD. What I find it to help with my depression is exercise and vitamin D. I have a therapist I speak with a few times every month. In fact, I have an appt on Monday. Does anxiety make you irritable and angry as well or is it because its mixed in with depression? Nice video 👍

I have 6/10 symptoms. I am seeing a talk therapist and psychiatrist and I'm trying to get help.

i have all the symptoms with chronic pain in all my body and burning 🥵 sensation when i touch any thing specially warm water in my feet 🦶 and hands i think 🤔 i am extremely depressed.
it’s 👀 look like psychosomatic
do you think 🤔 the depression could cause chronic pain like physical pain???
