Review of the Leatherman Signal #cb_tactical

Nice overview of the Signal showing its pros and cons. Overall, it will make a good knife to take on a day hike. It's a good solid tool, but there are a few things that they could have done better which would make it excellent. A better whistle, a little bit thicker fero rod, and a straight blade would be a good start. I would also like to see them make different accessories for the for the 2 removable peices. There are a few people on Shapeways that make accessories for the Signal.

You had some nice weather, doing the review. I don't have a Leatherman, i carry SAK's as multitools. It seems a very well equipt model. The whistle is a version where you shout; my whistle is soft, please help. Thank you Tom.
