Model A owner here as well. You need to double clutch when shifting. That's a non-syncro trans. Great job getting her running. She has beautiful original patina. That makes her that much more valuable. Enjoy it!

Really really cool old car... And loaded up with "vintage" performance stuff too. A true jewel

Good job guys! I've been a Model "A"'er for 52 years I'm so glad to see you young bucks enjoying a Model "A". Please don't turn it into a Hot school, all the way baby!

Yo Bro, I think I felt my 'stuff' twitch when you were backing out. I can't tell you how much I appreciate a young dude understanding the thrill of a real life 'Auto mobile' vs. a 'car' born in a wind tunnel. Get this 14 years before your 1928 Ford Model A was made PEOPLE RODE One more time KUDOS to you! Enjoy the 'relationship' Looking forward to more.

What a lovely sound Great car and you are very lucky. Learn to double clutch and use your handtrottle. (model t-man advice)

Looking forward to your next vid. Fyi, your car has period correct hot rod stuff on it. Embrace it! Just too cool. One time I forgot to turn the gas valve on and ended up pushing my fricking A down the road only to realize, the next day, that i just hadn't turned the fuel on. Can you say Like your Vid. I

I would trade that plastic fuel filter for a metal one, or keep an extinguisher handy. That's a fine piece you got there!

when you go uphill with less than an eight of a tank of gas it will all go to the back of the tank and stop feeding the engine. its gravity fed. back in the day it wasnt uncommon for peeps to go in reverse up some hills. the engine gas supply line is in the fwd part of the fuel tank. one of the very few design flaws of henry ford.

Join the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA). They have lots of books about fixing everything on one of these cars. I would suggest buying the Les Andrews Repair manual. It's worth the money.
I would guess another person like yourself may have owned that car. With the "high compression head", the down draft carburetor, the finned side plate, the distributor, the brakes, and the alternator, kinda what all "high school kids" do to Model A's. Ask me how I know ???
Start your "tune up" by setting the ignition timing. Very first thing that needs to be done on these. Get that timing right and that little motor will !!! Love the way they sound when you have them set right and "retard" the spark at idle. You can about count every pulse !!!
Have fun !!! 👍👍

You got a nice car, keep it stock, don't put a V8 in it, enjoy it I've had mine since 1969, love it!
