I had a 1968 Mustang exactly like this one. I bought it from a used car dealer for $800 back in 1977. The dealer painted all the cars that needed new paint a Dodge Duster color called Plum Crazy Purple... (He had lots of purple cars on his lot!) Yup, my Mustang was Plum Crazy Purple... It had a 302 Windsor V8 & could pass anything but a gas station. It got in a fight with a 1968 Ford Galaxy in 1978 & lost the fight. I still miss my Pony to this day!

I had a green 67 Mustang in the 80's. My dad made me sell it and I have regretted that ever since. Bought it for 400 put a 69 351 windsor in it. It had a B&M shift kit, and n50 tires on the rear. I loved that car, no dents no rust.

My mom had a 67 coupe convertible that was a dark blue with a black top. It had the pony interior. My dad had a dealer put a/c in it. Unfortunately they got rid of it before i ever got my license. I did however buy a new 1979 pace car mustang not long after i got out of high school. 4cylinder turbo kicked butt.

Man I wish they made cars like this again. See if it was electric motor and looked something like this it would’ve been bad, but not so bad. Unfortunately we get cars that look like large RC toys
